AI Measuring Tool
The AI Measurement feature is an automated property measurement tool that uses artificial intelligence and satellite imagery to automatically calculate property dimensions. This includes the lawn area, building footprint, driveways, sidewalks, and other features. This removes the need for manual measurement and provides accurate, instant measurements for property estimates and quotes.
Each measurement uses one credit. To buy credits, go to AI Measurements > Credits. If you run out, LawnPro tells you and links to the Credits page.

Generating Measurements When Adding a New Property
- Go to Customers > Properties and click Add New Property.
- Select the customer and enter the property address.
- Click Generate AI Measurements at the top of the page. When it’s done, the property size fields are filled in.
- Add any default items or services, then click Save Property to keep the measurements.
Generating Measurements on an Existing Property
- Go to Customers > Properties and open the property.
- Click Generate AI Measurements at the top of the page. LawnPro measures the property and reloads the page with the measurements.
Measure Property (next to it) is the manual measuring tool, where you draw the areas yourself. It doesn’t use a credit.
Generating Measurements from the Area Calculator
- Go to the left side menu and click Calculators
- Select Satellite View Area Calculator
- Select an existing customer and property to measure
- Click Generate AI Measurements
- Check Notify me when measurement is completed, or wait for it to finish
Once complete the measurements will appear in the table beside the map. You will see measurements for the property, lawn, driveway, sidewalk, and building.
- Click Save Measurements to Property to store the measurements in the property record. For a new property, the button is Save Measurements to New Property.
