Here's a very short guide to get you started after creating your LawnPro account.
These are the most common steps to take after setting up your account.

Add your company details

You can set your company details on the Settings > Profile page.
You can get to this page by clicking the gear icon at the top right of your screen.

Please note that the settings page is only accessible from lawnprosoftware.com using a desktop computer (but not from a mobile device or while using the LawnPro app).

Create a customer

Adding your customers to LawnPro is usually the most important first step, because having a customer in LawnPro is required to send your customer an estimate, to add a visit to the calendar or to invoice your customer.

Click Customers > Customers from the lefthand menu, then click the green "New Customer" button. Or just click here:

Fill out the fields on the new customer page and when you click the "Save Customer" button you'll see a popup asking if you'd also like to create a property for the customer.

Customers have to have at least one property, so in most cases, you would click "Yes".

Importing your customers

You can either import your customers from QuickBooks or from a .csv file.

To import your customers from QuickBooks Online please visit the Settings > QuickBooks page.

To import your customers from a .csv file please visit this page:

Create a property

Each customer has to have at least one property.

This is required because choosing a property is required when you add a new visit to the calendar for example.

It's also possible to have multiple properties for a given customer. 

If you want to add a property to an existing customer, you can do that by clicking here:

Once you click the "Save Asset" button you'll see another popup asking you if you'd like to create your first visit for this property. If you already have a visit scheduled with the customer you could click "Yes" and create a visit.

Create a visit

To add a visit to the calendar click the "Schedule" item from the lefthand menu, then click the green "New Event" button and choose "Visit to Customer"

It's possible to create both single and recurring visits.

If you want to create a multi-step visit to a customer (where a different task is performed at each time and the time between visits can vary, you can get to this by clicking "multi step programs" at the top of the schedule screen or by clicking here:
